That was the strap line for the Bickerton Portable Bicycle Television advertising campaign that was run in 1983.
On these pages you will find a few bits of information showing details of the Bickerton Portable Bike, designed by Harry Bickerton and manufactured between 1971 and 1991.
You will also find reproduced an article by David Henshaw from A to B magazine. This article was based on information I gave to David, but there may be a couple of inaccuracies….One day I will try to re-write the story.
